Stoil Panayotov, a Bulgarian farmer who was luckless in love and had divorced his third wife, got married to a goat last March at a market in Plovdiv, Bulgaria, according to the Sun online newspaper.

As the newspapers says, Stoil first married when he was 18, but problems started when his mother and bride fell out. After a short second marriage, he married his third wife and stayed with her for nine years.

His third wife was not able to provide him with a child and he decided to quit their relationship.

“The goat has given birth to three kids and my wife to none” Panayotov explains. “So this deal was more profitable to the goat owner, I got a second-hand goat and he got a brand new wife”.
