According to the Spanish “20minutos” web edition, they had introduced earphones into their ears so that they could copy in exams and they could not remove them afterwards.
Doctors in Qingdao town, China, had to operate two young university students who had introduced big earphones so that they could copy in exams and they could not remove them afterwards, as the local newspaper explained
The two young boys apparently did not know each other at all and went to hospital in different moments but with the same problem: after the national English exams, in which they used these earphones with their friends’ help, who were outside and gave the answers of their exam questions, could not get rid of the devices.
It seems that the headphone has become very famous in the city, where it is sold illegally in the street or on the web. The two "victims" stated that many of their classmates use them, helped by mobile telephones that transmit signs to the earphones.
One of the affected students, who went to Qingdao’s Central Hospital, told that after the exam the device can be removed by a thin magnet, something that did not work this time.
He will use it again
The 20-year old boy asked the doctor who operated him to keep the earphone since, as he said, he will use it again for his future exams if the teachers do not find out the trick.
Some teachers in Qingdao who have already known about the new have already started to install machines to stop waves from mobiles into the classrooms.
