Annie and Alaina Gavica have recently returned to the USA from their barnetegi experience just two weeks ago. EuskoSare asked them to share their thoughts about their newly attained confidence in speaking Euskara.

Annie and Alaina Gavica are now back in the United States after spending several weeks study Euskara, the Basque language, at the Maizpide Barnetegi in Lazkao, Gipuzkoa. A barnetegi is an intensive language school for studying the Basque language. The sisters are originally from Winnemucca, Nevada. They are both currently students at Boise State University; Alaina is majoring in Mathematics and Annie in Spanish.
